CHILDERN'S DAY

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and to provide students a refreshing break from their regular schedule, Ramjas School, Pusa Road, celebrated Children’s Day through a series of fun and frolic activities. To celebrate the remarkable culture of North East, the first-ever grand 'Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav' was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi on 6th December 2024 , at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The teachers, Ms Ruchika Chhabra, Ms Ruhi Verma, Ms Priti Singh, Ms Meera Sahni and Ms Shweta Bisht of Ramjas School, Pusa Road had the privilege of attending the inauguration ceremony at the Bharat Mandapam.

The students of Class XI bid farewell to the outgoing Class XII batch on December 31, 2024, in a heartwarming and memorable ceremony. The afternoon was filled with nostalgia, joyous performances, touching speeches, and emotional goodbyes.

Ramjas InterSchool Debate 2024

Ramjas School, Pusa Road organized the Finals of the much awaited 27th Ramjas Inter-School Debate Competitionon 12 November 2024. Seven best teams in English and Six in Hindi competed in the Final round of the Competition. The debate was adjudged by an eminent panel of judges. Mr Sushant Sinha, Consulting Editor with Times Group’s Hindi News Channel Times Now NavBharat, presided over the event as the Chief Guest. Mr Sinha is a Senior Journalist with more than 22 years of experience in Journalism.

Visiting A home for the Elderly

As part of its social initiative and to inculcate values of empathy and care among its students, Ramjas School, Pusa Road organised a visit to Arya Mahila Ashram, a home for the elderly on the occasion of Diwali.

The day began with the students singing the school song, followed by a prayer, allowing both students and the elderly residents to connect spiritually.The students presented various poems and songs, captivating the residents with their heartfelt and mellifluous renditions. To encourage active participation and interaction, the students played a fun-filled riddle game, bringing smiles on the face of the elderly.

Project Veergatha

The students of Ramjas School, Pusa Road had the rare privilege of engaging in a profound and intellectually stimulating webinar under the aegis of Project Veergatha 4.0. This exceptional session featured two of India’s most valiant defenders, Col Vijayant, Vir Chakra (Retd), and Commodore Varun Singh, Shaurya Chakra, who shared their extraordinary experiences, underscoring the ethos of duty, sacrifice, and service to the nation.The interactive Q&A session further enriched the event, as inquisitive students posed thoughtful questions on leadership, patriotism, and personal challenges faced by the officers. The inspiring responses offered by the gallantry awardees instilled a sense of pride, purpose, and responsibility in the young minds, making this an indelible and transformative experience.

Ramjas Inter School Debate Prelims (2024)

Ramjas School, Pusa Road held the Preliminary Rounds of its much anticipated 27th Ramjas School Inter-School Debate in English and Hindi on 21st and 22nd October and 24th and 25th October 2024 respectively. More than 50 schools from Delhi- NCR and neighbouring states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan, to name a few, enthusiastically participated in the event.A panel of eminent judges from renowned colleges of University of Delhi assessed the debaters.Seven teams qualified for the Finals of English Debate Competition and Six teams qualified for the Finals of Hindi Debate Competition to be held on 12th November 2024 at NDMC Convention Hall, Sansad Marg, New Delhi.

SWISS ART NIGHT

To commemorate 75 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between Switzerland and India, the Swiss Embassy in collaboration

with "Quiz craft" organised “In The Air” an event to mark the grand finale of the ongoing “Switzerland India 75” initiative highlighting the deep diplomatic and cultural ties between the two nations. Twenty five students and 2 teachers from Ramjas School, Pusa Road got the opportunity to attend the mega event.

HARMONIOUS Children Rehabilitation

In collaboration with HARMONIOUS Children Rehabilitation, a Non-Government Organization that works with children with Autism, Cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities and Mental Retardation,organised an exhibition of handicrafts made by special children on 19th October, 2024.

HYDROROCKETRY WORKSHOP

To develop scientific temperament and to spark curiosity among the students towards Space Science, Ramjas School, Pusa Road in association with SPACE Organisation has started an Astronomy Club for the classes VI to IX.

SANSKRIT DIWAS 2024

On the occasion of Sanskrit Diwas, Ramjas School, Pusa Road organized a special assembly to honour and celebrate the timeless language of Sanskrit.

The students demonstrated their deep understanding and appreciation of Sanskrit through various performances and presentations.

Mindfulness

To equip students with practical tools to enhance their mental, emotional, and physical well-being, a workshop on Mindfulness was organised for the students of Ramjas School, Pusa Road. The workshop was conducted by a psychologist from the Fortis group of Hospitals.

Nutrition in Adolescence

To educate students about the critical role nutrition plays during adolescence, Ramjas School, Pusa Road organised a workshop for the students of Class VIII on the 'Importance of Nutrition in Adolescence'. The workshop was conducted by Ms Pratha Julka, Clinical Dietitian, Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Noida.

Swachhta Pakhwada

The students of Ramjas School, Pusa Road, enthusiastically participated in the Swachhta Pakhwada from 1st to 15th September 2024, as part of the national initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Department of School Education & Literacy. This vibrant two-week campaign emphasized cleanliness, personal hygiene, and environmental care.

CBSE WORKSHOP ON AI IN EDUCATION

To equip teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate Artificial Intelligence into classrooms effectively, Ramjas School, Pusa Road, conducted a CBSE workshop on AI in Education.

Happiness Box Programme

As part of its social initiative ,Ramjas School, Pusa Road, organised the 'Happiness Box Programme' in collaboration with the Robinhood Army. The students of class VI and VII, made valuable contributions to this program by bringing food and dry ration from their homes which was distributed to the residents of Jhandewalan cluster.

Nature Walk 2024

In a recent initiative, Ramjas School, Pusa Road, organised a 'Nature Walk' at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri to promote physical and mental well-being among students while also providing an opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

YOGA 2024

To raise awareness about yoga as a holistic practice for physical and mental well-being, Ramjas School, Pusa Road celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day on June 21, 2024.

Paper bag making workshop 204-25

Ramjas School, Pusa Road conducted a paper bag making workshop for the students of Class 6 to commemorate Earth Day.

It fostered environmental awareness among students and equipped them with practical skills to contribute towards reducing plastic pollution by learning to make Eco-friendly paper bags under the guidance of the facilitator, Ms Nitya Chopra.

Celebrating Talent 2024-25

Ramjas School , Pusa Road has always strived to nurture the inherent potential of each and every student . With the same spirit, a platform was provided to the new entrants to showcase their skills through a Talent Hunt on 26 April,2024 .

World Health Day 2024-25

Every year on 7 April, the global community unites to celebrate World Health Day, commemorating the inception of the World Health Organization—an institution within the United Nations dedicated to advancing global public health.

Decoding CUET 2024-25

Ramjas School, Pusa Road organised a workshop on 8 April on decoding CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and exploring career options for Class XII students.

Workshop on Autism

To commemorate World Autism Awareness Day, Ramjas School, Pusa Road organised a workshop on 9 April 2024; to sensitise the students about Autism - a neurological and developmental disorder that affects communication and behaviour of people. The workshop aimed to create an understanding about the disorder, dispel misconceptions surrounding it, and foster empathy towards individuals with autism.

World Heritage Day. 2024-25

To reflect on the importance of safeguarding our heritage sites for future generations and to appreciate the diversity of cultures and ecosystems across the globe, students of XC, presented a special assembly on World Heritage Day.

International Earth Day

To commemorate International Earth Day and create an awareness and motivation among children to work towards protection and conservation of the planet and make it even more beautiful, the students of class X-D presented a special assembly on the topic- “Let’s Heal and Restore our mother Earth."

School Trip to Raja Ji Tiger Reserve

Ramjas School, Pusa Road organized an exhilarating trip to Raja Ji Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand, for the students of classes 6 to 11 from 14 March 2024 to 16 March 2024.

The excursion commenced with a thrilling jungle safari through the luxurious,verdant stretch of Raja Ji Tiger Reserve, followed by a visit to the peaceful Vindhya Wasini Temple, providing students with an opportunity to connect closely with nature.

EVENING SKY OBSERVATION SESSION

Ramjas School, Pusa Road in collaboration with Scienceplace successfully runs an Active Brains Club for the students of classes VI-IX. The activities undertaken by the club include informative sessions on Electronics, Robotics , Astronomy and SUPW.

This year too, a series of sessions were organised for the registered students. To mark the culmination of the club activities for the session 2023-24, an ‘ Evening Sky Observation’ was organised on 23rd March 2024. It was conducted by Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra, Science and Astronomy expert at Nirbhaya Science Museum and National Resource Person for Professional Development Program ( Teaching) and Master Trainer of NEP2020, Learning Outcomes (SCERT).

CBSE Workshop for Teachers on HAPPY CLASSROOM

To equip teachers with tools to nurture joy in the classroom, a CBSE Capacity Building Workshop was conducted at Ramjas School, Pusa Road on the topic – 'Happy Classroom', by esteemed resource persons, Ms Anita Singh Rana, Content Developer with SCERT and Ms Meenakshi Narula, Principal of Shemford Futuristic K12 School, Auriya.

The workshop was insightful and highlighted the importance of mental wellness for both students and teachers and discussed ways to foster happiness in the classroom to maximize learning outcomes.

Ramjas School, Pusa Road celebrated its Annual day, rejoicing the journey and culmination of another successful year, with great enthusiasm in the school premises.

The distinguished Chief Guest, Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi , the Minister of State for External affairs and Culture, members of the Ramjas foundation and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

The celebration commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest along with Shri Atam Parkash Agarwal, the Honorary Secretary-Cum-Manager, Ramjas School, Pusa Road accompanied by other dignitaries.

Founder's Day celebration.

A special assembly on the occasion of the Founder's Day was held in the school premises, where students from Ramjas School, Pusa Road presented the journey of the founder of Ramjas Institutions, Shri Rai Kedar Nath, who was born on 17th January 1859. A tribute was paid to the great educationist and philanthropist in a special assembly wherein the students talked about Rai Kedarnathji's contributions and his great works as he worked relentlessly to dispel the darkness of ignorance prevailing in the society and made a significant mark in the annals of history by devoting himself to serve the cause of education.

The school reverberated with the school song sung enthusiastically by teachers and students alike.

ANNUAL RESULT DAY 2024

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

Celebrating the hard work and perseverance of the students, the Annual Result Ceremony was organised by Ramjas School, Pusa Road on 20 March 2024 in the school premises. The ceremony commenced with an invocation to goddess Saraswati followed by the much-awaited release of the School Magazine, Samacharika. Students who excelled in Academics, Art, Music, and Dance were applauded and awarded books and certificates.

Orientation Day

An Orientation Programme for Class VI

“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.”

Ramjas School, Pusa Road organised an Orientation Programme for the students and parents of class VI on 6th April 2024. The programme aimed to acquaint them with the vision, mission, infrastructure and facilities provided by the school. The event commenced with a warm welcome of the new members followed by a prayer to the Almighty seeking the divine blessings.

Mrs. Surabhi Dua, the esteemed Principal, warmly welcomed the parents and students. In her address to the gathering she apprised them about the functioning of the school, its achievements in various fields and the opportunities it provides to its students to develop holistically and become successful, happy and responsible individuals . She emphasized not only on striving for academic excellence but also building character and nurturing sensitive, compassionate individuals equipped to face the challenges of the modern world.
