Literacy Campaign

Community service by the students, like taking care of senior citizens, teaching the unlettered, and participating in environment awareness programmes, is a part of the curriculum in the school.

The school has taken up the cause of spreading literacy with great zeal.

Project ~ I care
With an aim to help and enable the students of classes VI, VII and VIII to have a holistic growth, the school has undertaken the project I care- where each student of class XI adopts one child from the above mentioned classes and act as their mentor. This initiative has been launched with the intention of providing a support system to every student and also to infuse responsibility in the senior students to take care of juniors. The mentors work wholeheartedly not only to improve the writing and communication skills of their mentees but also to take care of their health and social skills. The senior students Endeavour to enhance the quality of the students by teaching them good manners and ethics. They keep a constant check on their performance through regular tests and assignments. I-care strives to give to its students a holistic training which would help them stand for the eternal values of Ramjas- 'Shraddha, Gyan and Karma'.

I-care acts as a catalyst and unravels the wonderful potential that each child possesses. The initiative is greatly acclaimed by parents as well as teachers.

Each One Teach One

Each one, teach one. In fact, ever since the National Literacy Mission gave this slogan, the school has actively joined hands with it in lighting the lamp of knowledge. Students have enthusiastically taught and made thousands literate in the last many years.
